B.C. Central Coast & Inside Passage Way Guide
The inside passage is a coastal route for boats to travel throughout the Pacific North West Coast. This route extends from Southeastern Alaska throughout British Columbia into the Northwestern Washington State allowing sailors to avoid bad weather in the open ocean.
The Canadian Inside Passage way extends for 40,000km of coastline sheltered from the Pacific winds and waves by the surrounding islands. The area is a highly popular tourist route because of the wildlife and opportunities for boating, fishing, and other outdoor activities.
