Gulf Island Guide

There are over a dozen large islands lying between Vancouver Island and the mainland just north of Victoria, B.C. The area’s mild Mediterranean climate, sheltered bays, and dramatic coastlines make it a sailor’s paradise.

The Gulf Islands and surrounding ocean are rich with ecologically diverse with plants and sea life including Garry oaks, wild lilies, kelp beds, and orcas, the world’s largest dolphin.
